It’s been a while since I last put pen to paper (well digit to keyboard… but you know what I mean!) So we thought it was time we updated you on Surviving Savannah’s latest adventures.
The last few months have seen a total turn around for the band. We initially set out to find a replacement bassist and we’ve ended up increasing the line up! After auditioning what feels like almost everyone that was mental enough to try; we found someone incredibly sane. Matt joined us at the beginning of the year on bass and a new sound began to weave its magic. A sound that called for something a little extra. Enter stage right Ben; guitar in hand. Our latest addition to the fold.
There’s nothing like throwing the newbies in at the deep end without water wings. So only a few weeks after welcoming Ben into Surviving Savannah we vanished off to the studio.
The fruits of our labour are currently being mastered and these delectable ditties will be available for download from
www.survivingsavannah.com and iTunes very soon!
Thursday April 12th will see our first outing with the new line up. At the wonderfully theatric and rather splendid Pit & Pendulum in the centre of Nottingham. We hope to see a few of you there. If you can’t make the date, fear not. We’ll be announcing a host of shows up and down the country within the coming months. Including a few special acoustic shows and niche festival appearances (Remember to bring your wellies and sun block… and knowing our luck rubber dinghies)
The end of May will see the unveiling of our new apparel and merchandise. This range will also include a limited edition screen print of our tour poster by the fabulous
Michael Cowell, and a very limited run of t shirts designed by
Lucy Coussell. Surviving Savannah Apparel will be available via our website and our Facebook webstore app.
Anyway It’s time to start rehearsing for our upcoming shows. So for now, good gentlefolk… I shall bid you adieu!
